Believe it or not it looks like he is the top vote getter.

It seems that someone from the Stephen Colbert fan site figured out a way to ’stuff the ballots’ for this voting, so there is a round 2 for voting lasting till September 10th. Here are the results for round 2…Colbert is still in the lead.

The thing that I like is that, farther down the list, these names appear…STEVEN SEGAL, BOB, HARRY HOUDINI, FIDEL CASTRO, CHEWBACCA, PIERCE BROSNAN, GUNS AND ROSES, BILL GATES, MARILYN MANSON, FREDDY MERCURY, KURT COBAIN, AC/DC, TOM WAITS, TUPAC SHAKUR, HEAVY METAL, BOB MARLEY, COUNTER-STRIKE, JACK BAUER, JOHN STEWART, and because any list of potential names for a bridge wouldn’t be complete without him, CHUCK NORRIS.
I think that this should be taken as a serious warning that, if you’re a foreign country trying to name a landmark or structure, you should never let word of that get out to America. If you’re in America and trying to name a landmark or structure, just name it after some dead president or social figure and be done with it. Don’t, under any circumstances, allow the public to have any say in it whatsoever.
I voted for JOHN STEWART.
